Even though I assume that out of the 9,700-odd followers that Tumblr claims I have, only about 50 people read me on any given day, maybe those 50 of you could go do this. And if you feel like skipping your trip to Starbucks or Tim Horton’s (hey, whatever, no judgement) today, you could slip in $5 to this family’s gofundme site. Insurance doesn’t cover things like hotel charges and food and lost income due to missed work days.
I will reward you all with several photos of Sweet Baby and His Cheeks today, promise. (I feel like his cheeks deserve their own honorific capitalization, don’t you?)
Remember Nolan? I posted about him a few months ago. His mom is a member of a breastfeeding support group that I belong to. He’s a pretty amazing little boy waiting for a heart transplant. Yesterday his huge heart caused one of his little lungs to collapse Last night he suffered a stroke. His neurosurgeon was able to remove a blood clot the size of an adult fist. ”Unfortunately he will have to stay unlisted for his heart transplant for a few weeks until he is completely stable again. We still have a long road ahead of us, but we have officially jumped over the first hurdle.”
Ignore my political posts, scoff at my natural parenting interests, but could you do me a huge favor? Can you help me send a tidal wave of love and support to Nolan by liking his facebook page? Could you do me a favor and share it with your friends? I’d love for his family to end the day with 10,000 fans.
