You see, I do try to make him a nice lunch. Hummus sandwich, watermelon/mango mix, black olives. He ate the olives. Later, begrudgingly, ate the watermelon.
The thing that aggravates me is that if he’d been served this by my mom, he would have eaten the entire thing in the first sitting. Not just eaten it, but eaten it while going “yum! yum! party tummy, Mimi!” I know this is true because I’ve seen it happen. Toddlers can be such jerks at times.
