The Kid Has Arrived

I was in the middle of doing the dishes on Monday when I heard Milo wake up from his nap. He seemed happy enough in there, so I finished up the dishes before I went in to get him. I found him in there reading a The Little Train (one of his favorite books), laughing and talking to himself quietly. He didn’t seem to notice me when I came in, so I went back out and got my camera.

I like how when he turns to the page where the text reads “A boy on a fence waves,” he waves his hand and says “bye bye”. We’ve read this book so many, many times, it’s no surprise he’s got it memorized.
