Are you honestly that strict about nap-time?

Hahaha, no. I do, however, encourage him in every way possible to spend a full two and a half hours in his room during nap/quiet time. He usually naps for about two hours anyway, but if he only sleeps for 90 minutes one day, I’ll let him stay him in his crib for another half hour (as long as he sounds happy and he’s not crying).

Now that my pregnancy is advancing a bit, I find I really need some down time in the afternoon to stay sane and rested. He’s such a wild man these days that I need all the energy I can muster to stay one step ahead of him.

  1. bujnik said: Best thing I ever did was designate a rest time. I couldn’t care less what time they woke up they learned to stay put and occupy themselves with books or stuffed animals until it was time for me to get them. Nap was from 1-3 and they had no choice.
